Nayana Hospital is a newly built hospital situated in the heart of the city of Bhadravathi. It is on the busy Tarikere road very near to rural as well as city bus stand.
This hospital was commissioned on 5th of October 1992 as NAYANA NETHRALAYA. It was started as high tech Eye hospital with all modern gadgets to deal with various diseases of the eye.
In the year 2003, Obstetric and gynecology unit was started and it started functioning with name of NAYANA NETHRALAYA, MATERNITY HOME & SCANNING CENTER.
On 5th of March 2007, it has been shifted to the new and bigger premises, and is functioning as NAYANA HOSPITAL with facilities to treat patients with various diseases
It is managed as a Proprietorship firm by a well qualified, efficient, full time Obstetrician and gynecologist Dr Veena S Bhat
It is a 50 bedded (inclusive of ICU), fully equipped, high tech hospital in Bhadravathi serving all sections of the society.
It has 2 Private AC rooms 8 Private non-AC rooms, 2 deluxe Special rooms and 7 multi occupancy rooms(with twentynine beds) 3 double occupancy room,3 ICU bed which are well lit by natural light and have good ventilation, provided with mosquito mesh and intercom facility
The hospital has emergency and basic equipments like nebuliser, ECG Machine, Weighing machine, Mobile-portable X-ray Machine
The hospital also has a 24hrs LAB which is equipped blood Semi-automatic biochemical analyzer for routine biochemical investigation
Microscope, Centrifuge, Nyco Card reader for HbA1c, Micro albuminuria
It has an in-house 24 hrs pharmacy
It also has a community hall which is dedicated for health education nd for conduction of yoga classes for pregnant ladies, other patients and general public
The hospital OPD starts at 9 am in the morning and runs continuously till 3pm and after a short break it runs till 9pm in the evening. OPD registration is around 150-200 patients every day. Bed occupancy is 85-95% every month
